현재 최종현학술원 대표로 재직하고 있으며, 한국고등교육재단 대표를 겸하고 있다. SK 주식회사 부사장을 겸직하고 있으며, SK 온 경영전략본부장, SK 이노베이션 배터리 마케팅 본부장, SK 에너지 글로벌 사업개발실장 및 전략본부장, SK China 기획실장을 역임했다. BP LNG 및 신재생에너지 담당 이사 그리고 맥킨지 컨설턴트로 근무한 바 있다. 1996년 외교부에서 커리어를 시작해 외교정책실 정책총괄과 사무관, 대통령 비서실 의전 행정관을 지낸 외교관 출신이다. 서울대학교에서 철학 학사학위를 취득했으며, 미국 예일대학교에서 MBA 학위를 수여했다.

KIM Yoosuk serves as the President of the Chey Institute for Advanced Studies and the Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies (KFAS). With over 15 years of experience at SK Group, he has held prominent roles, including Executive Vice President of SK Inc. and CFO of SK On. Prior to his tenure at SK, he brought his expertise to BP and McKinsey & Company. He began his professional career as a diplomat with the Republic of Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He received his B.A. in philosophy from Seoul National University and MBA from Yale University.
