Taught law for 35 years at Seoul National University and several other law schools in the U.S., Australia and New Zealand, including Harvard Law School and New York University Law School as Inge Rennert Distinguished Professor of Law. Served as Dean of Seoul National University Law School, President of Korean Intellectual Property Research Society, Inc, President of the Korea International Trade Law Association, Inc. and President of Korea Trade Commission. President and Appeals Judge, International Criminal Court(2003-2015).
