Dr. Woong Shik Shin graduated from College of Law, Seoul National University with a B.A. degree in law. He then attended Yale Law School (LL.M.) and University of Virginia Law School (S.J.D.) as a Frlbright Scholar. Dr. Shin further received Dip. Econ. from Oxford University. Dr. Shin served as Special Legal Advisor to the Minister of Defense; Chairman of South-North Cooperation Advisory Council, Ministry of Unification; Chairman of Dispute Conciliation Board, Ministry of Communication and Transportation; Council Member, Information & Technology Policy Council, Prime Minister Office. Dr. Shin is a recognized international arbitrator in several arbitration commissions, including the ICC, CIETAC(China), ICSID, GCC Middle East. Dr. Shin acted as legal counsel for numerous domestic and international companies and organizations in the areas of Banking & Finance, Construction & Engineering, M&A, IT & Ventures, South-North Koreas Business Exchanges, International Investment & Licensing.
