김갑유 변호사는 현재 법무법인 피터앤킴의 대표변호사로 주된 업무분야는 국제중재와 국제소송, 건설, 에너지, 항공/우주, 해상, 해상소송 등입니다. 김 변호사는 Chambers Global 2010’ 개인별 우수 변호사 랭킹에서 'Star Individuals’로 선정(2010. 2.)되었고 제2회 대한민국 중재인 대상 수상(2010.12.), 지식경제부장관 표창(2011.3.), 2013 챔버스 아시아-태평양 어워즈(2013 Chambers Asia-Pacific Awards)'에서 국내 변호사로는 처음으로 '아웃스탠딩 컨트리뷰션 어워드(Outstanding Contribution Award) (2013. 2.)를 수상하였습니다. 김 변호사는 현재 ICC 국제중재법원 부원장, 국제거래법학회 회장, 국제상사중재위원회(ICCA) 상임위원 겸 감사위원회 위원장, ICC Korea Arbitration Committee 위원장으로 활동하고 있으며, 대한상사중재원 중재인 및 상임고문, 한국중재인협회 이사, 미국중재인협회 이사 및 세계은행국제분쟁중재센터를 비롯한 싱가포르국제중재센터, 홍콩국제중재센터 등 각국의 중재센터의 중재인으로 활동하고 있습니다.

Kap-You (Kevin) KIM is Senior Partner of Peter & Kim LLC. He is a Vice President of the ICC Court and a Governing Board Member and Co-Chair of Audit Committee of the ICCA, a member of the Panel of Arbitrators of ICSID, SIAC, HKIAC, KCAB and other international arbitration organizations, and an Editorial Board Member of Global Arbitration Review. He is also a Chair of the KCAB International Committee, President of the ICC Korea Arbitration Committee and Vice president of the Korea Arbitrators Association. He also served as Secretary General of the ICCA from 2010 to 2014, inaugural Secretary General of the Seoul International Dispute Resolution Center (Seoul IDRC) from 2012 to 2014. He has acted as counsel, presiding arbitrator, co-arbitrator or sole arbitrator in more than 300 cases of international arbitrations under various rules including ICC, LCIA, AAA (ICDR), SIAC, HKIAC, LMAA, JCAA, UNCITRAL and KCAB for 30 years.
